I can't join a clan anymore! After leaving a clan, it may take some time for the system to recognize that you've left. This may result in a delay before you are able to join another clan. Also, if you are trying to rejoin a clan you were kicked out of, you'll have to wait 24h before you can approach the same clan again. The clan can however invite you back via the "Social tab", allowing you to join the clan immediately. If you're trying to join an "invite only" clan, please remember that you can only send one invite request to a clan at a time. Hero Skins Hero Skins are unlocked by playing Season Challenges. Hero Skins are only available to those who have purchased the Gold Pass and gained enough points to unlock the reward. You gain points by completing Daily and Active Challenges, or by purchasing points for Gems (Gold Pass only). Once you claim a Hero Skin, you can switch to it by tapping on your Hero altar and tapping on the 'Change Skin' button. Select the skin you wish to use with the arrows and confirm your selection by pressing "Select". Other players can see your Hero Skin in live replays, regular replays as well as when scouting your village or war base. If a Hero Skin is not showing for other players, they have to wait a moment for it to appear as the skin visuals are downloaded in the background while the game is being played. Can I change my username? Every player can change their username for free once, to make sure you can enjoy your game with a handle that you like. This feature unlocks at Town Hall level 5. To change your name, open the in-game Settings window, then press "More Settings" and then the "Change name" button. Follow the on-screen instructions. Do not use special characters (like emoji) in your username, because these might not be visible after you confirm the change. You can change your name for free once, and after this a name change is possible with Gems. NOTE : Each time you change your name, the cost for the next name change increases. So choose your name wisely! We reserve the right to change any inappropriate names at our own discretion, with no compensations. We do not change usernames upon request.

How does chat work in Supercell games? Many of our players enjoy connecting with one another through in-game group chat. We work hard to ensure that those interactions are safe and secure. No Supercell game features private chat, and we regularly display warnings against releasing private information. We are always updating a "blacklist" of offensive words and phrases, so they can be quickly found and removed when necessary. If you see a player who is offensive in chat, you can use the automated reporting tool by tapping on the offending message and choosing "Report". What happens if our clan is defeated or draws? After your clan loses, you will face the shame of overthrow and massacre, the memories of greater times will turn to ashes and your clan name will be unremembered. At least until the next Clan War. The members of a clan that lost a war will suffer a stiff penalty to their war win bonus; this is the loot collected from the victorious attacks on enemy War Bases. A bonus will still be awarded, but only a fraction of the full sum. If both clans have the same amount of stars by the end of Battle Day, the result of the War come down to a tiebreaker. Both clans’ members will still be awarded their War bonus loot, but it will come at a penalty since there was no actual victory. The penalty is not as big as for losing, but it's still a heavy reduction.

What does Supercell do to employ Fair Play? We know our player community cares deeply about Fair Play. Naturally, it’s a critical topic to us here at Supercell, too. We always aim to prevent cheating and disruptive behaviour in our games. This means keeping our Terms of Service (ToS) and Fair Play Policy up to date, and enforcing these when needed. What do we do? Why does the Poison Spell not work on Heroes? The Poison Spell is an anti-troop spell that damages and slows enemy troops. It is designed to help combat pesky troops that come storming out of the Clan Castle. It does only a fraction of the damage it does to troops on Heroes. The Heroes of Clash of Clans constitute their own unique class and, as such, they do not belong to the "troop" category. They are similar in use and appearance, but they're still a special force with unique qualities. That's why the Poison Spell is not very useful against Heroes, and it will only do a fraction of the damage compared to when using it on regular troops.

If your Clan settings are set to "anyone can join", you might want to restrict them to "invite only" or "closed" in order to best control who comes and goes. You can also choose to filter out offensive language using the toggle switch in your in-game settings screen. Also note that if a player is kicked out of a Clan, he/she is not able to join the Clan for 24 hours. If a request to join is denied, the player also has to wait 24 hours before sending a new one. How do I delete my account? One of our goals when designing games is to not make players burn out and get over exhausted. We understand that sometimes this can still happen. If you need a break we recommend connecting to Supercell ID to save your progress, before deleting the app and taking some time off. If your intention is to start a new game account you can easily do this without deleting your current account. Make sure your account is connected to Supercell ID, log out from the settings menu and start a new game by selecting "Play without Supercell ID". Once you have your new game started we recommend connecting to Supercell ID to keep the game account safe.
