Clash Of Clans | Full Guide

What is a Clan War? Clan Wars gives you and your Clan a chance to show the entire game community who rules the battlefields once and for all. A Clan War is a strategic battle between two Clans of roughly equal strength. Both clans need to have the same amount of participants selected for the Clan War line-up to be matched against eachother. For a player to fight in a war, the "Clan wars" button in his player profile must be green, indicating that he is available for Wars and the Leader must have chosen him for the lineup. There are two phases in a Clan War: 1) Preparation Day The Clan Leader or a Co-Leader initiates the search for a Clan War opponent. Once an opponent has been found, you and your Clan will have 23 hours to prepare for the battles ahead. During this time, you can make adjustments to the War Base layouts and donate and request troops. The Clan Castle in your War Base is different from the Clan Castle in your village, and...

How the Eagle Artillery works

How the Eagle Artillery works This massive defensive structure works similarly to the mortar – meaning its large attack radius will beam enemies from afar. Just like the mortar it has a ‘dead-zone’, providing a strategic advantage to close up attackers. The Eagle Artillery won't fire until at least 180 spaces worth of troops and spells have been deployed (cumulatively). After 150 spaces worth of troops and spells have been deployed, it's eyes light up as warning of the destruction to follow soon. Eagle Artillery takes time to charge and shoot. After each shot it recalculates its target to the area with the largest density of hitpoints. Its preferred targets are large, concentrated groups of troops. Once locked on, three projectiles fire, dealing huge splash damage within the impact zone. Damage is very high in the center of the attack zone, and lesser in the surrounding area.

How are clan points (trophies) calculated?

How are clan points (trophies) calculated? Clan Ranking is not determined by the sum of all members' trophies, but instead it is calculated by weight according to the following table: This means that the first 10 members' trophies are the most important factor in deciding the overall clan score. A clan consisting of very strong top players, with weak players in the lower ranks can still have a very good score. Please note, these points are not the same thing as Clan XP points.

I can't join a clan anymore!

I can't join a clan anymore! After leaving a clan, it may take some time for the system to recognize that you've left. This may result in a delay before you are able to join another clan. Also, if you are trying to rejoin a clan you were kicked out of, you'll have to wait 24h before you can approach the same clan again. The clan can however invite you back via the "Social tab", allowing you to join the clan immediately. If you're trying to join an "invite only" clan, please remember that you can only send one invite request to a clan at a time. You will not be able to send another request if you're still in a clan, or if your previous request still appears in the chat window of the clan it was sent to, even if this request has been rejected. You can join a clan immediately if you get a direct invitation from the clan leader/ clan elder. Furthermore, a maximum of 10 pending join requests can be sent to each Clan at a time (requests ...

What is the Hero Potion Magic Item?

What is the Hero Potion Magic Item? To give your Heroes an up to 5-level boost, be sure to gulp the Hero Potion before you start your attack. The potion temporarily buffs Heroes up by 5 levels, but the Town Hall cap on Hero levels still applies. Using several potions only makes the boost last longer and does not give additional Hero levels. Some good things to know about the Potion: The potion pauses during maintenance and has to be resumed for the boost to continue. Upgrading Heroes while the potion is active won’t cancel the boost. It is possible to put all Heroes under upgrade while the boost is active without a warning message or information that the boost will go to waste. If you are about to enable the Hero Potion and no Hero can benefit from the boost, you won’t be able to use the Hero Potion. Completing a Hero upgrade while the boost is in action will add the 5 levels on top of the new level, provided that this does not go over the TH cap for the potion. ...

Can I opt out or in when my clan goes to war?

Can I opt out or in when my clan goes to war? Each Clasher can indicate whether or not they’d like to join in Clan Wars by following these steps: Access your Player Profile page by tapping the “XP button" that indicates your level next to the XP bar in your village view Tap the “In/Out” button to select your Clan War preference. Note that this preference indicator is more of a suggestion for your Clan Leader and Co-leaders. Whoever starts the Clan War is still ultimately responsible for choosing who joins the Clan War team. This means that even though you have pressed the "I'm In" button the leader still needs to select you for the War lineup. If you've indicated that you're not available, the leader can still include you in the lineup. If your Clan Leaders persistently take you into war against your wishes, please use the Clan Chat to reach out to them and talk things through.
