Shields: How they work

When your village has a shield active, it can not be attacked by other players.

You can gain shield either by buying it for gems from the Shop, or after being damaged in an attack. The more damage is inflicted on your village, the longer the shield that is rewarded.

Rules for gaining shield vary based on your Trophy league. However, you can only get a shield if the attacker deploys at least 1/3 of a full army (calculated according to your TH level).

Shield rules for Bronze, Silver, Gold, Crystal, Master & Champion League

At 30% destruction, a 12-hour shield is awarded.
At 60% destruction, a 14-hour shield is awarded.
At 90% destruction, a 16-hour shield is awarded.

Shield rules for Titan League

Titan I

At 30% destruction, a 9-hour shield is awarded.
At 60% destruction, an 11-hour shield is awarded.
At 90% destruction, a 13-hour shield is awarded.

Titan II

At 30% destruction, a 10-hour shield is awarded.
At 60% destruction, a 12-hour shield is awarded.
At 90% destruction, a 14-hour shield is awarded.

Titan III

At 30% destruction, an 11-hour shield is awarded.
At 60% destruction, a 13-hour shield is awarded.
At 90% destruction, a 15-hour shield is awarded.

What can take my Shield away?

• Starting a multiplayer attack and deploying a troop or spell. The cost of attacking with a shield is 3h for the first attack and rises with each attack from there on. With every new shield, the time-cost of attacking is reset.
• You can also manually remove your shield from the shield timer if you wish.

You can participate in Clan Wars, Clan War Leagues, play the single player campaigns and attack in your Builder Base without fear of losing any shield.
